Grodno State Medical University was established in the year 1958 and is pioneer in teaching MBBS to students from Belarus and abroad. It is a successor of the first medical school of Belarus which was The Grodno Medical Academy established in 1775. It recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international MBBS professional groups. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the medical field.
The institute provides best infrastructure for its MBBS students and the high class facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the institute is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its students. The institute has various other activity centres in the campus like gym, separate sports complex, etc. The University believes in the overall development of every MBBS student and thus organizes various personality development programs such as Seminars, Debates, Conferences and Student Exchange programs. Grodno State Medical University is offering a low-cost MBBS program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. Currently, more than 500 international students study at this university from 30 distinct countries including India, Sri Lanka, USA, Pakistan, France, Syria, Yemen, UK, Peru, etc.
The University gives training to not only physicians but also researchers and the teaching staff for its own needs. At present, the administration of the University comprises primarily of University graduates. On the basis of persons with doctoral and Ph.D. degrees, the Grodno State Medical University takes the leading spot in the Republic of Belarus.
From last 60 years, more than 16,000 MBBS students and nurses have graduated from the university. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus considerably increased enrollment in the University over the past few years.

- Admission: - Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
