Jilin University established in the year 1946 and it is located in Changchun. It was listed as a national key university in 1960. It recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. It was approved as the university which is directly managed by the central government in 2004. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the world market.

- Library: - The university has seven libraries in the campus, and has been designated as libraries for the UNESCO. with more than 7.57 million books, 1268 foreign language periodicals, 4914 Chinese newspapers and periodicals, 1.4 million e-books etc.
- Sports: - The university has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the campus like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming etc.
- Labs: - The university has a well-equipped lab in the campus with modern equipment and tools.
- Computer lab: - The university has a well-equipped computer lab in the campus with latest computer machines and tools.

The university has seven international apartments, located in various campuses with the total of 845 rooms and 1506 beds and they are providing well furnished rooms with all the necessary facilities like a bed, mattress, cafeteria, WIFI Internet facility etc.
- The University has instituted a certain number of scholarships for meritorious students, in several categories of study and as well as extracurricular activities.
- The scholarship is awarded based on the marks in the qualifying examination i.e. senior secondary examinations for admission to UG courses.
- Students scoring at least 80% marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for the scholarship in select courses.
- The scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% of the tuition fee, depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The table below illustrates the amount of scholarship.
