Established in 1993, Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University is a non-profit public higher education institution imparting MBBS education located in the large city of Bishkek (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU) is a medium-sized (8,000-8,999 students) co-educational higher education institution. Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University (KRSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 27 years old Kyrgyzstani higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students’ past academic records and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. KRSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.

COURSE & ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility criteria: - Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
Admission: - Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
NEET Score must be for General Categories (2022) - 117 Marks For General & For Reserved Categories - 93 Marks.

Library: -
- The institute has a spacious library in the campus with more than 726636 copies, the main part of the books. Space in the city of Jalal-Abad, the general fund – 639964 copies, which is the main part of the educational Publications 528961 copies, and 16706, complete with electronic resources. More than 3585 copies of books a year, and may be purchased in various publications,and electronic resources, more than 1304 copies of magazines, books and other electronic publications and other informational resources shall be presented.
- Sports: - The university has a sports club for their students and teachers to demonstrate their skills and abilities not only in their academic endeavors, but in sports as well. The sports club every year organize cricket leagues and basket ball tournaments. The sports club also has a body-building hall, however to attend it you will have to become a member of the sports club. Workouts are provided both in the afternoons and in the evenings.

HOSTEL

The institute has 6 hostels in the campus in which they are providing a well-furnished room with all the necessary amenities like a bed, mattress, cafeteria, air-condition, etc. Some of the important facts of the hostel: -
- University distance from Hostel: - There are only 5-10 mins of walking distance in between the main campus of the university and the hostel.
- Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in 2, 3, and 4 sharing occupies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability.
- Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room is there in every hostel.
- Laundry room info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student of that hostel.
- Kitchen info: - Every hostel is having two common kitchens which can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do.
- Washroom and Toilet info: - There is a common washroom and the toilet is there for every floor of the hostel.
- Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are separate.
- Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the students safety. Security staff is always there for the security of the students.
- Indian Mess availability info: - Indian mess is not available in the hostel but the Tiffin system is available for the Indian systems in the hostel.
- Gym info: - The university has a gym in the campus with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill, etc.

Scholarship

The University has instituted a certain number of scholarships for meritorious students, in several categories of study and as well as extracurricular activities.
The scholarship is awarded based on the marks in the qualifying examination i.e. senior secondary examinations for admission to UG courses.
Students scoring at least 80% marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for the scholarship in select courses.
The scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% of the tuition fee, depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The table below illustrates the amount of scholarship.
