Osh State Medical University (Osh SU) is a government Medical Institution that functions under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Science & Education of Kyrgyzstan.  It was established in 1939 and is located in Osh, which is the capital of Osh region of Kyrgyzstan.  Osh SU, one of the best and oldest medical universities of Kyrgyzstan which imparts MBBS education, got the status of “University” in the year 1992.
